Diamond Die Inspection Software

Background

We developed a software that helps in Measurement and Quality Control of Wire-drawing Dimaond dies.

A 100x Microscope with a camera and USB imagge Capture capability was used to capture profile photo of the wire drawing die, which is then analyzed using this software we developed.

This software was developed for a customer of ours and it helped them to significantly reduce Testing and Inspection times for each of their dies. The PDF reports generated

The Windows based GUI software would allow the QC person to just click points on the profile and the software would calculate the entry/exit angles of the die as well as profile depth automatically.

The software would further generate a PDF Report with a Die PASS/FAIL result on the customer's letter head. The report generated from this software would be attached as Quality Control report of the Diamond Die.
