8-Channel variable voltage MOSFET based Level Shifters
For use by electronic developers during development phases, to shift signal levels between multiple devices with different voltages. Translates any voltage between 1-5 Volts.

Background

The 8-Channel bi-directional logic level shifter is a small device that safely operates in stepping up higher voltage (upto 6V) signals to lower voltage signals (upto 1.2V) and vice versa.

8-Channel Level Shifter Board

Product and Technology Description

The board consists of Low Voltage(LV+, LV-) 2 pin header and High Voltage(HV+, HV-) 3 pin header to provide supply voltages. This breakout has 8 BSS138 FETs with 10K pull-ups and individual channel capable of giving variable voltages with maximum volatge of 50V, current of 220mA and the power consumption is 360mW. It works down to 1.8V on the low side making it suitable for low power, low current applications. This board consists of led's for each channel which lit up as supply voltage is provided indicating the board is working fine! As you plug-in for a particular channel that channel led goes off showing that channel is selected.
