Product and Technology Description

We designed and built an electro-mechanical mechanism with a control system that makes the mascot nod its head and waves its hand in a synchronized fashion, which creates a WOW Factor!

On powering up, the mascot aligns its head/hand to a preset start position and then starts off the synchronized movements.

Finished, Colored mascot.

Mascot assembled, with animatronics mechanism
and kept ready by the team that built it.

How it was built?

The head and hand are fitted with high power geared DC motor with good torque sufficient to handle the load, and then a sensor to synchronize the position. A small microcontroller system inside the mascot synchronizes the motor movements with the sensor and makes it do action.
