Background

Royal Mysore sailing Club (RMSC) is a world class Sailing club setup in the pristine backwaters of Krishnarajasagara Dam , Mysuru, India with a vision to train and develop Olympic class sailing atheletes.

With complete technical help from Ideas Unlimited, Mysuru, RMSC conducted India's First Night Sailing Regatta. (Nothing short of a historic moment in India's Sport sailing history).

The complete kit for enabling night sailing capability on a Sail boat.

We developed a complete kit for lighting up the Port/Starboard side of the sail boat with designated colors, and to illuminate the sail/boat, and a Numeric display on top of the sail (Specifically for Regatta) along with a Water proof and Water Safe Battery pack that can be dismantled and charged on shore after the Regatta.

Night Sailing kits for Seabird class boats, developed
by Ideas Unlimited, Mysuru for Royal Mysore Sailing Club (RMSC)
. RMSC conducted India's First ever Night Sailing Regatta in
KRS Backwaters, River Cauvery, Mysuru.

The entire kit was developed keeping in mind the situation during sailing, ease of maintenance and safety. The battery pack provides an endurance of around 5-6 hours depending on the lights being illuminated.
Finally the result is there to see! RMSC conducted successfully the first Night sailing Regatta ever in India, with the help of our kits and their passion!
